another winter, another winter song
another winter, another window song
i look out it, see what the ground is covered in today
i'm cold on the outside
i'm cold on the inside sometimes
wish things were different every season
wish things were different for all reasons
yet i'm green beneath it all
is there green above me
yet i'm green beneath it all
is there green above me
i spend my weekends in the library
i do not mind the lack of company
all your friends they leave u for somebody else
oh well bless my heart if i was somebody else!
i'll live by myself with a big book shelf
& i'll get a dog and a really good job
& i'll be happy but i'll be lonely because
solitude is a means to be happy
i don't know what i've been missing
i don't know what i've been missing
you made me want to find out
you made me want to find out
i will never find out!
i will never find out!
Stumbled across this great band because of Martha the band and I just love their sometimes melancholy garage-sound.
Also I like the acoustic songs.
I still remember seeing them live in my hometown when they were touring with Erica Freas and asked them for a setlist to have something to remember the great concert.
It´s hanging on my wall since that day :) Ninehundredninetynine
Catbath are the type of band that transcend genre preference, like homeboys Husker Du, or Fugazi & At The Drive In: Bands just about all fans of rock music admit they like, saying, "I usually only listen to (insert rock genre), BUT: I make an exception for Catbath." The only place I listen to CD's is in my car, and "Its Bathtime" keeps winning the battle within my collection there. Grungey Alt-Rock
